SUPERVISED CONSUMPTION

To ensure that some patients take their medicines, a prescriber can require that the medicines are taken at the point of dispensing, within the Pharmacy. Examples of medicines which may have consumption supervised include methadone and other medicines used for the management of opiate dependence, and medicines used for the management of mental health conditions or tuberculosis.

At Adrian Thomas Pharmacy we can provide this service within the privacy of our Private Consultation Room.

Under the supervision of our Pharmacist we can ensure that the dose has been administered and consumed as required by the prescription, to the patient. You can feel comfortable knowing that the service is confidential and you will be made to feel at ease.
